Re: Tiger pictures wat????!!?! are u trying to show us a pic or asking us to post pics? |

Re: Tiger pictures Hey, I bet we all did that at one point. I ran a site like that for 6 months until someone said 'why all the broken images?' |
Re: Tiger pictures Akula971, the[img] tags only work if the image ison a web server somewhere--you need to have a URL in between the tags, not a file pathname to your desktop. If you don't have access to a web server, you should try attaching the image--look for a button that says 'manage attachments' when you make a new post. That stores the image on the Gaming Forums server. |
Re: Tiger pictures Quote:
I once had a hard time figuring out how to post pics too, Akula so don't be offended by us having a little fun over the situation. Here's a very easy way : http://www.imageshack.us/ got it from someone in this forum too, there are more free hosting services but this one is working great. Just browse to where your picture is and host it, then just copy the [img] blabla [/img] braced link and paste it in your post in this forum..... To do a number of pictures in one post without having to post them one at a time, first copy and paste the links of the pics in wordpad on your own PC and then copy all the links in one go and paste them it here in a post. |

Re: Tiger pictures Quote:
Nice pics Akula......i suddenly understand why so many soviet tanker mistaken a Panzer IV for a tiger at a distance :lookaround: |
Re: Tiger pictures Wow, really nice pics, Akula! Wish I had been there.. I for one would really like to see the rest of the pics and the video. |
Re: Tiger pictures Would like to see the Matilda I and Valentine pics. Very cool pics too. |

Re: Tiger pictures Nice pics got anymore? |
Re: Tiger pictures Is that the bovington tank? I thought that tiger was the only real one left that was in running order...all the others seem to have T34 chasis... |
Re: Tiger pictures Nice pics Akula! We were having fun with the guy who posted some pics of the tiger from Bovington on the FSM forums saying that it din't look realistic enough and could have used some weathering  Does it sound like FH's, someone said that no tiger engine was available so they had to use a jagdtiger engine. |
Re: Tiger pictures well, theres actually a guy that lives a couple of miles from my house who refubishes tanks and military vehicals and then runs them around his property. I was over there a few months ago and saw that he had a StugIII of some type being rebuilt then. He also has a Scud missile launcher. If i can ill try and get you guys some pics. |

Re: Tiger pictures Akula, Jan is that you? Looking from your Sub pictures.. PeteKing said you where a Sub fantast :-) |
Re: Tiger pictures I want to see some color pictures of a nice clean Panther tank! |
Re: Tiger pictures Thanks for posting them! A nice sunny day at Bovington :) I thought the engine was a real refurbished Tiger one - but I could be wrong... In fact - from the website: The last step in this long and fascinating process is the installation of the impressive Maybach HL230P30 V-12 petrol engine. Here Ron is putting the final touches to the big power unit. Those who have followed the story right through will recall that this engine came from the Tank Museum's Tiger II and in reality would be more applicable to late production Tiger I tanks. http://www.tiger-tank.com/secure/journal25.htm so there !! :) Very interesting reading if you follow through the links... |
Re: Tiger pictures Quote:
I wish they could get it up to par... |
Re: Tiger pictures They had to use different air-filters - hence the popping... ah well I dunno!! :) |
Re: Tiger pictures Got loads more pics of Panther, JagdPanther, PzkwII, PzkwIII, PzkwIV, Stug III, Hanomag. Video's will be posted to my site this week. I'll announce when. Yeah It did pop a lot, but still impressive. |
Re: Tiger pictures yeh yeh yeh whatever stop telling him what he did wrong and post some pictures of the TIGER |
Re: Tiger pictures NOW VIDEO VIDEO is up at www.Akula971.com go to Tiger page and links are at the bottom of the page. wmv format. PzkwIII to follow soon. |
Re: Tiger pictures Awesome footage, Akula! I would have killed to be there.. Have you got any other vids or photos of the exhibition? And yeah, that Matilda seems to move many times faster than in FH. |
Re: Tiger pictures Damn what the Tiger really is a beast and that matilda seems to move pretty fast. |
Re: Tiger pictures matilda = fast? are u bloody mad mate?!! |
Re: Tiger pictures Very very nice vid/pics the popping noise got annoying from the tiger :uhm: |
Re: Tiger pictures Quote:
I read it was running a little rough because a couple of the engine's cylinders weren't wired in due to some kind of problem (and to prevent damage). |

Re: Tiger pictures Quote:
LOL get a life...... |
Re: Tiger pictures Good videos! Pity they didn't can the Tiger around a bit - but I suppose they've gotta take it easy :) That Matilda is definitely speedier than the FH ones - something to fix I guess? The Tiger engine did sound awful - nothing like I expected :( but at least it's running. |
Re: Tiger pictures Quote:
And make me. |
Re: Tiger pictures New Video added last night of the Tiger starting up...enjoy |
Re: Tiger pictures Quote:
And you are sure you are 23? Im guessing 13 |
Re: Tiger pictures Hes like 15/16, I dunno why the hell he put down 23 as his age. |
Re: Tiger pictures Same reason you've got Leet DJ under your name :) ...??? http://www.megamixers.com/ You can be anything you want to be online (allegedly) :Pimp: |
Re: Tiger pictures In the museum they have a Pzkw III that you can climb into. What strikes you most is the lack of any room to move! Imagine 5 people in a car and than add a lot of heavy metal and tiny doors to get in and out off. Looking out the turret vision slots you can see pretty much sod all too! no wonder they always had thier heads out of the cupola |
Re: Tiger pictures Akula, that is soooo fucking sexy. Got any other pictures? How about a movie of the turret turning... But I still gotta say that the tiger moved slower than the matilda. |
