no one really care except for the fanboys that like to bash other mods

they stated that the bayonet animation and the french sounds/voices are from rtr, but they have a permission from ea/dice to use them. i dunno about the k98 sound, but as blistex said, its not the community's problem, so i dont care ....

It's not the Vanilla K98 sound either, or if it is they have tweaked it around quite a bit. Vanilla has a more sharp kind of crack sound, FH's is more full bodied with some reverb.

Also the french tank mg sounds very much like the 0.5 Stg44 and the german tank mg sounds like the 0.5 BAR. But maybe it's a coincidence. It's up to the devs to judge.
Edit: Well I extracted Fh's k98 and Bf1918's lebel, they aren't exactly the same, but obviously the source is the same.

How can you steal a sound?

D-Fence, if I would fart with the same sound as you do, would I have then stolen it?

Sorry, but this "stealing sound" idea is just ridiculous.

no, you can steal a sound in the game industry. its the same as stealing anything else. Electronicly, sounds have patterns. If the pattern matches exactly, its likely the same sound. (if thier simmilar, then its not. But if the wavelengths match up exactly)

i love this mod! i find it more fun than FH. the lebel does sound like the k98. but theres bayonetts! i think FH should have some of those.

Don't know what to think of this mod yet. It has some spectacular models.. like this one:

the planes seem broken with horrible netcode to me. The Pushable artillery is really nice, as is the tanks, but that's about all there is to offer. It's a good first try.

Its a really nice mod, but I got bored of it really really fast. It doesnt have the same infantry combat as FH (its more like vanilla rifle combat) and trench warfare gets old after a few rounds. I might go back and play it once there's more content.
