As much as I will be pro-FH as most of the others here, I'm afraid my opinion of public play FH isn't much different from public Vanilla. Public play is public play, smacktards abound. You'll still get TK'd for the King Tiger, you'll still see the guy who TK'd you for the George fly it into a tree on take off and so on.
What you want reeree is FH combined with the glorious BFE.
Organised armies in battles twice weekly, completely organised companies and TS structures. No random rambos, no TKs for vehicles, no spawn raping while back flags go gray. It's free to signup (random army assignement) or a small fee to choose your army (Allies or Axis).
I'm not saying FH is as bad as vanilla play, there are some good servers out there with a mature crowd, it's just for the most part I find a pubbie is a pubbie, doesn't matter what mod. I've never touched a public server since signing up for BFE, just can't compare.
Well actually now that TWL has set up the Fh ladder for organzied matchs between clans and teams no need to worry about bfe waw, no way im standing around at some fringe outpost for an hour....
You truley want an escape from noobs join the Fh ladder at TWL, it 100 times better then public server's.........
yeah, but it depends if he has time for a clan.. Who knows, he might get lucky and get to join the action on the frontline..

I've had that experience too. They always stick me on some useless flag that only one guy attacks with a pilot kit after he bails.. I prefer pub play to clan-organized stuff, but that's just me. I can see why lots of people like it.

You don't actually need to be in a clan or WAW if there would be servers specially for player groups.....
Lets say someone started a server ONLY for serious players, and with the mandatory demand you join one of the two TS channels provided, one for each team.
I suspect if players respect each other and can communicate better with each other ( TS ) there will be a more satisfying game for all. No need to order other players around to have coordination.
When there are capable artillery gunners and bomber pilots, they would probably be happy dedicating themselves to answer requests for support. Or infantry supporting tanks....gunners able to communicate in vehicles making them more efficient ( who hasn't been a top mg gunner and saw an enemy tank aproaching that the tanks driver didn't see ? )
I guess i am saying you can start a clan, but also something like a less restricting "interest group" in a certain way of playing the game. I guess no real bf1942/FH or other mod player really enjoys public server games. Something other then run 'n frag is rarely seen....
