Btw. those pak 40 (?) guns work great, I was sitting in a pak in breaktrough and a king tiger rolled by. I fired two shells point blank and it was smoking pretty bad, I couldn't fire a third shell though but it would have probably destroyed it.
yea i cused a real hell for the Germans with the PAK40 gun and its funny cuse no one know were its hided ....

One shot to the roof with any MANPATS will knock it out, no questions asked.

Explanation: Two percent probability that the miniature organic is simply looking for trouble and needs to be blasted. That may be wishful thinking on my part, master.
M1 Bazooka penetration is usually accepted to be anywhere between 60mm - 90mm against a perfectly flat surface. I can see how the Panther and King Tiger's sloped rears could be a real problem for them, and how the incredibly high quality of the tiger's armour could stop them.
Like I't been said, aim for the engine deck or the tracks.

King Tiger armor is THE thickest, hardest armor of WW2, aside from battleships and a prototype Maus tank then reportedly never saw combat, though there's some controversy over that.
Bazookas won't scratch the back or side armor of the KT. Aim for the top. The top is the weak point. Failing that, try to hit underneath the tank. It's also pretty weak there. Ex Packs are bugged I think, I put 4 on the engine compartment of a Tiger and blew them up, and it didn't even smoke. That's a definite tiger weak point. Enginieers kind of got the shaft in .6, hopefully some more useful toys for close range anti tank will be avalible in the future.

Give the guy a break. I was TK'ed plenty of times over the weekend by noobs tossing damned nades at the tanks while I was trying to place ex-packs. Now That's Vanilla Noob.

That is true, unless the tank has sideskirts... I made my panther have alittle extra protection due to it's sideskirts... And with a "hull down" position, oh my....
Re: How many bazooka shots does it take to destroy a KT?
Try to go for a 90° angle of attack.
Just hitting it somewhere at the side or back does not have the same effect
as a 90 ° attack
This has been posted many times before .
I got a Panther to smoke with 3 Piat rounds.
Just look for Beast of War's explanation on this subject. Posted with screenshots and the whole shabang.
