McGibs you would probably know since you have played the beta.. But anyone else who knows please ring in. Have the sounds for nebelwerfers been changed? also was wondering if the velocity had changed for the rounds or if the annoying black smoke was gone as well.
Also was wondering if any new explosion animations had made it into 0.6..(always liked the mini-mushroom cloud of the Wespe round)
Last question was if there was any change for the ammount of ammo carried by an MG pack, is it still going to be the 75x3 round Drum or has a new system been introduced. thx for the help!
1: They call em screaming meenies for a reason (though they arnt as freaky sounding as the katyuskas) They spit out alot of black smoke, but thats what happens when you fire bigass rockets out of a short tube. They go as fast as any artillery rocket (they dont have the gibbled aiming glitches anymore though)
2: MC made a whole whackload of little impact sprites. Non of them are too too noticable, but they are quite nice. One that comes to mind is AT rockets, when they hit something, they explode then light the ground on fire for a few seconds. Most tanks shells have subtly changed explosions.
3: It's still 75x3 for the german mg's. I dont see any reason to change this.

I think that was a Skin, and not a Model. DC is having hella problems getting their new Coalition skins/models ingame because of the re-animation issues. Theirs look great though and I'm sure they will turn out alright.

Yeah, I wa always disappointing the Kat sounded so bad. They put in Stuka's sirens, why not the Kat's(Dice)
Anyway, nice to see them being added. BTW, on a smei related note, but doesn't DICE just release a partch that allows some of the most annoying BF issues to be addressed by modders? I don't see what they have to lose by doing that(I can't see EA losing money by fixing their game)
BAh. Just angry about that. Don't mind me
Thanks McGibs for the quick reply, what i was referring to about the black smoke was the distinctive trail it left behind when the round was fired. All you had to do on the recieving end was follow the trail back and you knew exactly where to drop your artillery.. Good to hear though the sounds have changed
Also looking forward to checking out all the new impact sounds/ explosions
And on the MG what was hoping in that the system would changed to linked belts, i always thought that was much more efficent than having to change drums all the time, but no biggie. thanks for info
