I bought BF1942 in December. I noticed some 'odd' events in BF playing (a Halftrack could not be destroyed with a panzershreck hit at 20m!!?? ha ha) and started searching for mods with a bit more realism and found Forgotten Hope.
I downloaded the 0.5b main files (2 downloads), the 0.5b-0.5c patch, and the 0.5c-0.5d patch. However, I noticed a download site featuring a 0.5d-0.5e patch. This patch is not on the official FH site and I have read many posts about folks having trouble with 0.5e. What is the word with 0.5e? Should I bypass it until 0.6 is available? Do I need 0.5e to upgrade to 0.6?
FH .6 will be an entirely new install. Its not a patch.
Many of my friends have problems with all of the FH patches (it just wont run). The current public verion is .5e, so give it a try. If it doesnt work, then just wait a few weeks/month for .6
get fH .5e patch if you want to experince online FH today. www.bf1942files.com should have everything

That was not very nice, how the hell can you say such a mean thing, ofcourse FH is coming out in a few weeks.....and hopefully not a month.
P.S.Killor is cool, as long as he dosen't over react.....
Thanks for the info. I'll download the 0.5e patch and give it a go! I hope it works.
