Increase voltages only if the system is not stable, but I think you should be able to reach 3 GHz on stock voltages. The other thing you need to consider is the memory multiplier. Make sure you lower it initially to be within its specifications, to eliminate memory as a source of stability issues. If the system is stable you can then increase the memory clock slightly to a level with which you are comfortable. You are fairly close to 3GHz now (FSB from 311 to 333).
Thanks for all your help. Unfortunately I tried and tried and never got this damn board to go over 2.8ghz. I few reviews popped up on newegg after I bought this that complain about the board's OC potential, so I guess I'm not alone. I'm going to pull it and find a good OC'ing value board + a $30 video card :P

I did get my main machine built last night. It's a Q6600 running very cool and steady on Zalman air @3.4Ghz. I already threw it on folding. 4200 PPD! Amazing board. It's that new 780i Tri-SLI board that just came out. I may try a little higher tonight.

Spoiler:

Now I just have my game machine to build. It's going on an Asus P5E with X38 chipset & watercooled so it should OC even more I hope. Amazing how much "free" clock cycles you can get out of these Q6600's. Can't wait for the penryns

Oh.. btw, we broke 1/2 Million on our points last night!

It's OK, we have plenty more days. We'll leave room for you at the top. loosing WU's are depressing. I lost like 60% of my first Quad WU's by discovering it's not good to Ctrl+C the clients. It ruined my whole day.

eh?.. I suppose. *sigh*

All of these threads have been going randomly off topic and turning into tech threads that should be gathered, organized and stickied. soon, soon. (Sooner than the PZIII, I promise)
