| Not sure how much is to much for a gpu cooler but Tomshardware did a test on some little while back and if memory serves correct they werent that much, ie around 70 dollars U.S. but dont hold me to that. On another note got all 3 of my systems up and running. Been a lot farther along but I mucked up badly and totally lost 57% of a 1700 + credit order. Oh well live and learn got my first ones completed today. Happy folding, Mal |

![]() Looks like you have everything up and running now. You are kicking some serious booty. I'm sure you, baobab, and Mr._BlOnd will be passing me up before I get my office upgraded. btw, as a team we are producing over 5000 points per day. That's way more than any of the other new teams. We are already color-coded as high producers on all of the stats sight... Just blowing by all the other teams. Good job everyone |

| Well, I got my comp running it also. I actually forgot about this thread. But how am I going to use the GPU? I've been reading a little about that on the FAQ, but Im a little hesitant to do so. I dont want to screw up my comp. I rather use my GPU-processors though, two 1900XT's running in crossfire would do the job I think. Anyway, if anyone has a noobproof guide to installing the GPU, please, to do

Scroll to the bottom for dual card setup. Note that crossfire is not supported but running a single GPU client on each card is. Still double the output. The skinny of the FAQ is: 1) Download the GPU client, Make 2 folders, place a client in each folder. IE: F@H_GPU01 and F@H_GPU02 (didn't see this mentioned in the FAQ) 2) temporarily connect a monitor to each card so windows sees 2 primary displays/cards (requires 2 monitors) 3) configure each client normally... same settings as a CPU client except in advanced settings, set the first client to GPUID=0 and the second to GPUID=1 4) return your monitor configuration back to your crossfire settings in windows. Make shortcuts on your desktop for each client, launch and your off to the races! |
