Default downloading problem

hey guys, i have a small problem i cant figure out. when i go to download a mod from one of the game files sites, it downloads as Umxattachmentfile, and not a zip file. how can i get it to a zip file so i can unzip it into my game mod folder?

First of all, try running cleanmgr - go to "Start > Run" and type in cleanmgr then OK and clear out all of the accumulated temp files etc, which may speed things up. Also, make sure that your system has enough free space to install another program...

besides FOC my computer has pretty much nothing on it, its just when i click the filefront link to download it, instead of saying .zip its like some eaf file..

its actually an efw file.. not zip

EFW zipped files may be opened by changing the file extension to ".zip" and opening the file with a decompression utility, such as WinZip or Stuffit Expander; executable files may be run directly by changing the file extension to ".exe" and opening the fil

When I used to get only efw files, I needed to turn off my firewall and then it downloaded right.
