These new styles are designed to be as low bandwidth consuming as possible. It's one of the reasons they were implemented. I'll be tweaking them here and there, but the overall layout will hardly change.

Those who are getting lag, please let me know what city/state (or country for those outside of the USA) you live in. If you prefer to keep such information private, you can pm me this information so I can determine if it's an issue with us or outside our ability to fix.

It's bearable, but the forums do run slower than usual. It's particularly visible when attempting to visit a particular section, it seems to work fine when going straight to thread or user CP.

Well I waked up a few minutes ago and yes, pages take damn long to load, on the filefront forums only.

Also getting some slight slow downs and error messages on my end. It's kinda tolerable but gets very annoying over time.

Seems like it's back to normal for me now.
At the time of my previous post it could take between 50 seconds and up to 2 minutes to load a page ^^'

Was lagging terribly last night.

Denver, CO is where I live.

Also, I kept getting a "site not found" error where it would just be the Filefront.com page with an error message.
I'll be sure to screenshot it if it happens again.

South Dakota, Rural.

It's better today but not by much. I say better because occasionally everything works fine, and load times are near instant, but more often then not the unreasonable lag persists. Which is strange in a way, as the new layout should be less of load to download than the previous one which was working fine only a week ago.

Could be server problems between here and there as well, having nothing to do with the site, it's hard to say. If it continues I'll post back.

are you guys having issues connecting to other sites too at random?

It was reported that the news of Micheal Jackson's death on the internet acted like a massive DDOS attack against many sites and crashing them. It could be the servers you connect to in your hops to the forum server may have been congested and caused slow speeds.
