EDIT: Hmm. A thought occurs to me. What if, instead, someone has found a way to grab the new password of anyone who changes their password right now? That would make the thread starter an accomplice to the crime, if not the ringleader behind the whole operation. Should we perhaps wait until an official announcement comes down the line?

Personally I believe that's the right thing to do. For now anyways. What if those accounts were all connected to a few people. (The ones in the screenshot) Also the thread starter does not necessarily have to be an accomplice to it. (If it's true)

I think something happened during the whole company transfer fiasco and the database managed to get leaked out in the process. I doubt the "hackers" still have access to our current information. But you never know.

For some reason, I have doubts about it. I think there would have been more "Halp, my password has been kicked/hacked/slashed" posts. Though to be on the safe side, a password change has never hurt.
