Is a friend of mine banned?

I have a friend that can't get filefront to work, he asked me to write this:

"for a week he hasn't been able to access neither the FH websiter nor Game Downloads, Game Patches - FileFront.com or any of its forums. He have tried to deactivate the windows firewall, but it didn't work, he have tried using the start menu > Run > typing command > typing "ping www.filefront.com" and then he got the message "sent = 4, recieved = 0, lost = 4 (100 %)". he managed to lower that to 75 % when deactivating the windows firewall. but he can't seem to get it any lower. he also tried to in the Run > Command to write "ipconfig /release" followed by "ipconfig /renew". but it didn't work either. he uses Avast! antivirus."

please help him, he's really suffering from not being able to follow the progress of FH2. I can't imagine that he deserves to be punished with a ban, but maybe his ip is banned due to something that his brother has done.

I would need his FileFront username to see if he was banned at the site. As for FH site (not sure which one that is), if it's a network site they would need his username for that site to see if he was banned.

If you are both Swedish (I noticed your signature) then your friend's problem might be related to the current situation with Cogent and Telia (see here for details). If that's the case then it may just be a waiting game.

His user name is "Tedacious" but I guess it has to do with what you said inyri forge. Is filefront connected with Cogent? Because I think he has telia...

FYI the Cogent/Telia issue seems to be resolved, according to several Telia users I have spoken to.
