Blow away a whole enemy base with 1 shot ? Now that is a definition of base raping
I think superheavy railgun weapons are a bit unwieldy to use, and very vulnerable in bf1942 scale maps....the maps are too small to represent 18 km and up distances these weapons fired, and enemies won't take long to get to where that huge gun is.....under a minute in most current size maps.....
But the germans used smaller railguns too, that were converted naval guns. They could fire in any direction after reasonable short preperation time. Enemies would have to search for it down the entire rail line, would be nice if that line had tunnels too. Now there are battleships in FH so that damage is more acceptable i think. |
