Default Destroyable Berlin - Since it's such a small map you can probally get away with this.

Basicly you keep berlin the way it is, then patch up everything that's destroyed to make the map look clean when you start off and smash the hell out of the place.

EDIT: These ideas keep coming! ... Consider this --> having B17 bombing runs randomly falling from the sky at random locations every 10-20 sec. with the sound of B17's flying by.

haha that would be fun but you would have to make a load of destroyable buildings would be time consuming

Alright, i like your idea but for building's to get destroyed it would take some time because they have to make the building a object which in itself makes lag and then make the wreckage look good and not a black piece of junk.I really hope that fh re-does berlin and gives the allies a b-17 base for bombing and the germans a base for fighter to shoot em outta the sky.But this defeats the purpose of berlin because berlin is intended to be a close up infantry combat map. It all takes time to even it out.

Kudos to KDE for Kuality Komputing!!! Koding and Kompiling have never been Kuicker! Konsole kreates a kompelling kommand-line-interface.
KDE is kosher as far as I'm koncerned.

I didn't mean having an actual B-17 fly by, just the bombs fall... like rain (but with long pauses becuase you don't want bombs to fall constantly :P)

And I was thinking, you can just do three of the biggest wreck's and patch them (Not the full building, just the three biggest chips taken out of various buildings) to test it online.

I don't think It would be a problem to make a wreckage that isn't a black peice of junk.

Ok then forget the whole B17 idea, I saw b-17 in the Intro

Just try patching up three smashed buildings and see what people think before you do the whole town.

good idea to poster #1, BUT!!!!!

Yes, I said but. Berlin is a SMALL map, if you have LOTSA polys all over the place, you BEG for lag, especially in BF. SO, if you want lag, go ahead!

They should make a Berlin factory bombing map. The Allies start far away and have B-17s and mustangs. And the Germans start with fw-190s and me-109s and flak. The Allies must bomb the factories (kinda like Battle of Britain). Then they could do a night version for the Brits.
