I don't know if we need it as a seperate stationary AA gun but I would love to see it as part of the M15A1 anti-aircraft halftrack.

The M15A1 was produced in greater numbers than the T28E1 and M15. Like the M15 it has some armor protecting the gun crew, and used M2HB .50 caliber MGs instead of water cooled M2 .50 caliber MGs. The M15A1 however had a revised setup with the MGs being located below the 37mm.

The seperate M1 gun was the standard AA gun from the beginning of the war.If i remeber well, the site mentioned that the Bofors was slowly introduced in 1941, and the M1 was still the standard gun till 1942.

Later in the war, it was still used alot as a stationary gun in the pacific.

But the M15/T28E1 are defiantly a unit wich should be included in FH2.It saw alot of action

The XP-38 was supposed to have been equipped with 2 x 12.7mm HMG's and 2 x 7.62mm MG's and 1 x 37mm cannon.

The first batch of P-38D were equipped with 4 x 12.7mm and 1 x 37mm.

The 37mm cannon did not mix well with the 12.7mm HMG's as the trajectories were very different. The Oldsmobile 37mm cannon was also notorious for jamming.

Like the Bf109G with its Mk108 30mm cannon, the muzzle velocity of the 37mm round was low and while devastating if it hit was useful against bombers but hard to hit a maneuvering fighter with unless at point blank range.

As for getting the P-39 in game, Von Mudra I will be your willing Ally in any endeavor that will get my "Kobrastochka" in game.

I think it is also a gun on several American fighters. The Kincobra and Airacobra had one, and I think some P-38s may have as well.

Sorry, but no. While they fired the same ammunition as the M1, these aircraft guns were a seperate design designated the M4 & M9. BTW, the tank & antitank 37 mm guns fired a different round that was not interchangable with the AA & aircraft weapons.
