More of a question

This is more of a question than a suggestion but what Front will be added next after Africa?

I hope it is the Pacific front...

To be fair, it was posted several months ago and you would have to dig around the news archives to find it.

Re: More of a question

Not known yet, maybe they will do just Normandy and then move along to a different front? We will see. Check the newsupdates on the mainpage from time to time to see whats going on.

Re: More of a question

It is possible that Normandy includes all Western actions from June-November 1944. (Which would include Market-Garden.)

They will have skins for summer terrain and equipment from that period. This would allow them to create any western battle until it snowed. However, we do have not heard if they will be doing British soldiers in that theater, though we have seen British equipment. (They could always put desert British soldiers in, or American soldiers with British voices.) However, in all likelihood no decision has been made as to what battles will be included. We will probably just have to wait for a news release. (which will come whenever)

As for the next theater after Normandy, that's anybody's guess. (Mine is the Eastern Front)

I just wish they would do the Pacific Front, that in my opinion is the most fun of all of them, you have every type of combat you could wish for - jungle, city, beech, ship, air, tank, everything...

Since you seem to care about the pacific theater that much, you should check out this thread:

Normandy, we have been explicitly told, genuinely means ONLY Normandy. And apparently there's more chance of not seeing much US stuff in the first release, rather than not much British involvement - the Brits are so much more developed already.

Re: More of a question

After Africa and Europe I expect the push to be Ostfront.

Most of the development team for FH2 is European and while their are a few Pacific Theatre fans the majority are European Theatre and Ostfront fan boys.

I expect the Pacific theatre will be last.

Im looking forward to the Pacific theatre as well, well msot ly the air war part of it but I cant wait for Russia and the huge tank battles and the air war.

Re: More of a question

I find the first 10 minutes of a tank battle exciting, anything after that is very boring, it is the same thing over and over. - you shoot, he shoots, you shoot, he shoots, ect... (i know there is more too it I was just making a statement)

I find flying however very fun, I flew the entire length of a 4 and a half hour long battle once, that was fun!

And I find I like the Pacific theater planes the best, I love the Japanese plane as well as the US planes

True, but I am only saying what is possible, since I seriously doubt anything has been decided yet. They will have the means to do anything up to November 1944.

Personally I would not be surprised if the next release is Normandy, and then Market-Garden came out as a patch between Normandy and Eastern Front. But who knows, Lobo has said that Micronesia is a priority so anything could happen between now and then.
