Well, it is easy...

1- get a microphone
2- install Cubase or Wavelab
3- write down all the commands
4- get a canadian guy with good voice who also know french
4- record the commands
5- send them to Lobo in a mail.

and the canadian troops will be one step close to reality.

Mods don't make themselves, so if you really want to be a proud canadian soldier fighting the streets of Ortona, Liberate Caen or storm the Juno Beach - start working for it!

@GirlsHatesMe : of course you can get the shore riding a kayak, but for a vast majority of visitors, fences forbid to get too near the escarpment (not to be annoying, just because it's dangerous)

Voila, c'est le problème - I think the aesthetical [this word looks so awful in english, btw] aspect of the voices is a crucial one here. Ever stumbled across a "Report here if you want to help recording voices for a xy mod"-thread somewhere, like me? Rather felt like a visit in a elementary school, or like listening to some Bibi-Blocksberg kinda recording.
I mean, if you find someone with a appealing voice and with some decent speaking talent, I don't mind. :cool:
But even if not - someone would sure be able to do some sort of minimod implementing canadian voices even when they're not included in the official FH2 yet.

I would like to see some fight around the Azeville battery as well as St Lô and Ste-Mère-Eglise. I wouldn't mind if you put Cherbourg in (because it's where I live) but I don't think there were many fights here, it was mainly a siege.

If Charlie is remade, I think there should be no openings in the shingle, like if you were getting through the shingle, you have to use the bangalore or loose health by touching the spikefence. In FH1, engineer + bangalore = suicide bomber. So i think 1 bangalore for each person will do :)

Why do I have the feeling that USA wont be in FH2's first version of Normandy? We have only heard news of british forces in normandy. I dont care if that's the case. But I think other will be disapointed. Somewere along the lines *OMFG NORMANDY WITHOUT OMAHA BEACH!!?!*

I was directly challening Foodmaniac's implication that he wanted a release of mirror remakes.

As for releasing Normandy without the USA, I entertained that prospect too - while it'd be great to read the screams of the inadequate 12-year-olds who won't play anything without Jimmy Patterson in it, I think the survivability of the mod rather depends on getting the Americans in as soon as posisble. Then the appeasement of us Minorifags can recommence :)

That's a brilliant choice, but I would remove Pegasus and Caen, because those maps would feature Brits and Canucks (unless if the models are spec-ops ones, then it would be ok to play such maps).

Oh and could we have an objective map where a Rangers' squad have to pick up a guy from the 101st Airborne from the frontline?

St Lô: Would be intense since the city was basically destroyed by our bombers, 70% of the Panzer Lehr division wiped out by them as well....

Do you have some moral objection to playing as Commonwealth forces? Even I, in all my jesting about Americans being everywhere, love picking up a Garand and have no objection to playing as a Yank. Why on earth would it be apparently inappropriate to play as Brits or Canadians unless they are 'spec-ops'?!

I would love to see a Douvres Radar station map, bypassed by the British on D-Day, it proved to be a considerable thorn in the side of the Commonwealth forces having considerable defences but also an excellent view of the Allied build-up. The station held out for several days despite coming under intense bombardment at times. Several Canadian and British units attempted to assault the station as well, most without success, though the station finally surrendered on the 18th of June.
