Information for type of Commander Artillery?

Would it be possible to add any information to a map so each Commander on each team knows what their available artillery support are exactly? Or is there some way to know that I've missed besides calling artillery close and watching it strike?

Some players thought that artillery in Operation Hiyacinth was really artillery instead of flares. In other maps it's smoke, others field artillery and others mortar team etc. If it's not possible to add any type of information whatsoever in the map I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to add such information in the Wiki?
