Default German Snipers and Climbable trees

Well, during the Normany Offensive, German Snipers took positions in trees, and prety much everywhere. Is there a way to code climbable trees? or just a stationary boject that you can enter or exit? Like a sationary machine gun, but you can still use your rifle.

Well there are tree stands in FH42. Id imagine it would still be possible with an invisible ladder or some such. Unless they can code the "Resting your rifle on something" bit, Id rather lie down on a stand.

There are treetop sniper perches in FH (many Japanese maps, including Guadalcanal, Makin and Saipan have these.) I'd love to see something similar in FH2, as well as the possibility of using more "obscure" locations for sniping, not just blatantly obvious church towers with stairs leading up to them.

Yer, someone told me that... Where the heck is it? These ladders, I mean.

I know the weight that comes with making trees vehicles - But is there no way of making these trees enter-able So that bots can also climb them... And a simple click gets you there?

But really where on those maps are they cuz I eint seen any?

On guadalcanal when you exit axis main there is a palm with a wooden platform. Climb the back of the palm, it has an invisible ladder.

I think its only on pacific maps. North Base in Battle of Makin, there is a static gun to the east of the flag. There is one just to the north of that gun. There is also one between the tower and the south flag, a little closer to the east beach. If you go north from the center flag go up and then down the hill, again just a hair to the east as you travel north is another. This one is particularly deadly when facing the north flag. The enemy heading south has walked a bit and alot of people will have lost some focus and are simply travelling south.

LOL noob time...

When I first found the tree stands I found that I was always dying trying to get off of them. For some odd reason (I was prolly prone) I would always find that I could get off them no problem as a Japanese. So my rationale was that only tthe japanes could use them!!!

Lets remove the platform model, and make it invisible, cause the Germans just used branches.

But in the Asian front, there were japaneese snipers, literay tied up in trees permanantly.
