Second that--the sniper tents in GC were awesome. Basically little asymmetrical tents that sorta blended in with the majority of terrain on that map (sand, ice, whatever) and which were opaque on one side and had a mesh texture from the inside.

They didn't cover the whole sniper, but something similar (a camo tarp, bush, sniper tree, sniper nest -- something like sandbags you could dump inside a church tower and poke a gun out the hole of) would be very very cool.

Well I know it's not really in the vein of keeping it real, but in DCX as support gunner, I sometimes (Hey FH is my first love, I only go there when Im seeing Rheinen or El Alamein or something) bust out a wall of sandbags and literally close roads or divert traffic to mines or some dastardly insurgent tactics!!! Anyways, its very unrealistic to whip a wall out of my pocket!!! But a ghillie suit could fit in a pocket!

Signature removed. Please read the rules.

What about using some trees as a vehicle. Or better yet, a spawnable vehicle. So snipers can xlimb on in it. If it were a vehicle, firstly, bots could climb it also. Also, it mean sit could be closed to American troops. Thirdly. rather than just lie in the tree or prone in the tree, you could have the 'climber' appear in the tree vehicle as a sniper would be positioned in reality. Shoot him down and he flops out like a BF2 manichin....

Depends; it wouldn't be unrealistic to whip out, say, a pile of furniture or bricks or something (one would assume you'd find this crap lying around, enough to build a sniper nest with.)

The only challenge would be to make it blend in with terrain (i.e. "oh look it's the ONLY PILE OF DEBRIS IN THE WHOLE CITY, WHAT OH WHAT COULD IT BE?")
