Default Re: German Snipers and Climbable trees

Basically, I think that the only way to make snipers more effective like they would have been in real life in forgotten hope 2 as opposed to forgotten hope 1 would entirely revolve around deployable sniping positions using elements already present in the maps to add to concealment instead of making them static red and white targets with limited visibility which they are now.

A great way to help the concealment of snipers in FH2 would be to let them be able to "dig" their own foxholes that would provide them with ample foliage that is typocal in the map they are playing in. This way they would not be relinquished to the obvious church towers or shrubs that dot the landscape.
An example of which would be:

Another cool Idea would be if the snipers could somehow convert trees into sniping perches where in game, they could make a tree have a ladder appear and the sniper would then be able to enter the tree. He may be even able to have a little "treehouse" with protection from bullets since this was done by snipers using whatever was available(ex. tank pieces) that would be totally camouflaged.

I would also love to see the fake trees that they used in world war 1 along the trenches. that would be cool.

Wow, all this time I've been playing this game and I've never once seen a sniper stand nor seen someone in one! Maybe they're in maps that just aren't in the rotation of the servers I'm typically in? It would be nice to have more tree stands, etc., but I've no doubt that, just like bell towers and the roofs of bunkers, they would instantly be the first place other playes would look so it still wouldn't be very good for concealment.

Honestly, I still haven't mastered being able to use the scoped rifles in here, anyway, so I prefer to use the standard rifles and BARs.

Pwning you in ways you don't even understand.

When in Makin, I try to only use rifles and Bar/Type 99. There isnt really enough open ground for sniper rifles anyway. Plus someone can easily sneak up on you.

I usually don't reply to questions if the person says "Lobo, reply", because I am just nasty (no other reasonable excuse to explain my behaviour), but today I am in good mood, don't play with your luck, it will be a small gap in the space-time.

Those ideas are cool but hard to implement not looking weird or plain and simple eyesores in this engine. About sniper trees, for sure in Pacific, in other campaigns who knows, can be done easily though

Is there any chance for sniper camo that goes along with the terrian?Maybe something like a spawnable bush, or maybe an enterable static? Like a haystack?

Nah, weird looking, and snipers already have good advantages in a game like FH, they don't need more
