I love how people think bullets send you flying. No, wrong Bullets dont do Jack to you. They simply pass through your body losing some speed. It is IMPOSSIBLE for the bullet to gain more punch then the recoil which it made from the gun. Also, once that bullet leaves the gun, it starts to slow down. So the momentum will be even lesser then the recoil from the gun which it was fired from.

In ADDition, the bullet doesnt transfer much of its momentum to your body because it passes through. If it doesnt then, theres a very very good chance you wont bleed out, because the entry hole usually isnt that big. But when it mushrooms up it leaves that big hole for you to bleed out.
