In the map where everyone plays townspeople?

Original suggestion, but V1's werent precision weapons. You fired them in the general direction of something and hoped they came close.

AFAIK, they were mostly used as terror weapons, not precision artillery to be used against enemy troops as you are suggesting they be used in FH2.

Being able to call down buzz bombs would be pretty cool, IMHO. But yeah, deffo not with any precision.

A V-1 pickup kit (a la the bomber kit) would be awesome though :-)

Both V-1 and V-2 were very inaccurate to about six miles plus. Meaing you could kill a city with it.... not much else.

I wanna spawn as a british citizen and run around trying not to be hit! It would have a cane as a primary weapon, be able to throw his top hat, and have alt fire on my crumpet (a crumpet is a curved trumpet for those that don't know) to shout "Hip Hip Hunny Nut Cherrios!"

What are you talking about?

Re: V-1 Rockets

"Drive by arguemtents" is a reference to a particular episode of Family Guy, animated. In this episode the british take over Peter and friends' local bar. One such aside is Peter telling Lois how "the worst the British ever do is.. uh.. drive by arguments!" when it switches to such a scene and line above is spoken before the brit peels away from the dazed victim of the arguementative statment.

Re: V-1 Rockets

V1 is not an artillery weapon. its for bombing BIIIIIG ass london from across the channel. The only way it would ever get into FH is if we for some reason had an interception map with allied pilots trying to take out AI controlled V1 rockets (woo... fun)

The only thing fast enough would be the Gloster Meteor, so you'd have an excuse to model that :)

Re: V-1 Rockets

Correct me if I'm wrong, but AFAIK the Gloster Meteor was made for the purpose of taking down the V-1s.

No, work on the Gloster Meteor began in 1940 before there was ever a V1 threat, it was just a plane designed around the new turbojets that had been designed. When the V1's started it did become pretty apparent that the new plane was suited for the role.
