Just some suggestions...

http://www.reiss.dk/hats/images/Pict...gineers250.jpg

1. Add british officers cap

http://statelibrary.vic.gov.au/argus...m/an008492.jpg
2.Add lewis LMG

3. PPD SMG, nagant pistol, Simonov 1/2 automatik rifle, and maxims would also be cool :)

4.Have you ever thought about adding Scotland in this mod(we already have 100% of their weaponery+some of their clothe and gear :)) just add some new hats and new voice commands+maybe a kilt :D.

5. Add bayonets...

IŽll soon post some new suggestions...

Well maybe we could allow them to use underpants :)
Their most deadly weapon would be the almighty bagpipe, that would be a pickup kit :)

Re: Just some suggestions...

well could that be possible?i know that they did walk upin to battle with the bagpipes going bloody heroic men there

Nothing heroic about walking up to enemy positions where all the Germans have fled in panic when they hear you. All you'd find are a bunch of insane people with bleeding eardrums, and two or three deaf guys playing cards who never caught on that there was an attack under way.

There was a great comic a while ago with a bagpiper standing on a corner, with a sign that said "pay or I play"... :-)

Bagpipes as a pickup kit would be great if primary fire was "play Brave Scotland", and secondary fire were "play Brave Scotland REALLY LOUD and BURST EVERYONE'S EARDRUMS"--you could have the same effect as artillery in BF2, where your vision goes blurry and the ground shakes.

Beards wern't common practice, they made the seal to your skin on gas masks less effective, still not aloud in our military to many, only if you are in a religion which requires a beard.

What about sideburns? Cmon, a scotman have to have hair in face or he isn't a real stereotype scotman.

beards seemed to be pretty comon umong commonwealth troops in afrika. Too lazy to shave I guess. Most of the photos ive seem the guys are lookin pretty scruffy.

Scots in this mod would own. You gotta have a Sean Connery playermodel from the Longest Day if you guys ever do a Juno Beach map. Not to mention a bagpiper class.

In North Africa you got a very limited amount of water per day (a pint?) for personnel use. You could shave or wash, not both. Being in the hot dusty desert most wanted to wash off the dust, sweat, and grime.

You've gotta love Connery in 'Irish' mode.

IIRC the beach was Sword.

IŽll soon post some new suggestions...

1. That's really just a minor coding effort. I don't see why they could take, oh, thirty minutes and get it over with.

2. Lewis gun would be nice, albeit it being outdated. Perhaps they could add it to jeeps!

3. PPD could be added I guess. The Nagant revolver could appear like the Luger P08 ingame, but it would just be a little fun addtion. However, I can't find any records of the Simonov rifle (SKS) seeing any reasonable action beyond tests in World War II. Maxim is a different discussion

4. NO.

5. That would be nice, but a major coding job to create the thrust movement would be necessary. Not fun....

Calibre: 7,62 mm x 54 R

Length: 1232 mm

Barrel length: 612 mm

Weight: 4,3 kg

Fire-rate: 25 - 40/minute (practical)

Magazine: 15, removable

Official abbreviations: "7,62 aut. kiv/36"

Country of origin: Soviet Union

Prototype: 1931

Production: 1937 - 1939

This rifle was used by USSR special forces (atleast in winterwar) USSR produced tens of thousands of these before they started making STV38 and 40. This rifle was kind of predecessor of SKS and STV rifles.

I can´t understand why only finnish sites talk about this gun, I found 2 sites about it and they are both Finnish...

We have all those guns modelled and skinned if the fh team want to use them.
