Talking Italian Tanks (No, not nine reverse gears :b)

Hello, my first post on these forums. In all honesty, I haven't played you mod (sry guys, I really want to) but I am an avid fan of BF 1942 & RTR, Hearts of Iron I & II and Call of Duty. I would like to make the following suggestions (yes, after looking at all the Italian vehicles at your main site) which involves bolstering mainly the Italian Tank range, but I do have some aircraft and stationary weapons in mind once I do the research.
With no further adoo, the tanks:

Carro Veloce CV-33-L3, Carro Veloce CV-35-L3, Carro Veloce CV40-L6 (Light Tanks).

M11/39, M13/40, M14/41, M15/42 (Medium Tanks).

P-40, P-43 (Heavy Tanks).

SPG's (Self Propelled Guns) - Semnovente 75/18, Semnovente 75/34, Semnovente 90/53, Semnovente M42 - 105/25, Semnovente M43 - 105/25.

Here is a good link for use of Armour during the war:

Good site about the Italian Tank Corps:

My main sources.

Now, back to what I was doing...

The Italians are a brand new addition to the mod, so naturally they aren't going to have a lot at this point. If you really want the Italians, go ahead and wait until .7 comes out, and you might get a little, but otherwise, pick up a copy of BF2, and wait very patiently until FH2 comes out. There are bound to be way more Italian maps in it.

Can we have that super-crappy Italian tank, the one that could be destroyed by LMG fire? Called the armato or something. Or maybe it wasn't. But it would be cool anyway.

You could have simply glanced at the vehicle section, please don't go around asking for vehicle suggestions if you havn't even seen the vehicle section.

I have, I knew it was there, I was implying that it was an average tank, not that it should be in FH (since it already is).

Well why did you suggest many tanks that where ready for FH .7?

There are four armoured vehicles there which I've seen in the vehicle list at the FH website. I just put them all in so the mod developers or whomever may wish to see this list is able to better interpret how all the different armoured types relate to one another....

I have also made threads in the past for Italian vehicles. The main problem I see is that alot of what you have requested saw very limited service and then usually in German or RSI hands.

The P.40 was fairly rare and the P.43 was even more rare. The M15/42 was not made in large numbers either.

Im happy we are able to get what we have now. Only things I would like to see added are:

Autoblinda AB41
Sahariana scout car
M11/39 (Because it was the most common tank during Operation Compass)
A Italian Bomber such as the Sm.79

It isn't all that fiar to the Italians though, yeah it was limited production but they where still used and that is really the point. Plus it does add a 'GAMEPLAY' factor for those axis maps where the Italians are used. Not just that, but i've done a few nights of painstaking research and asking my grandfather (N Africa vet - Italians) and it is not fantasy, they where used (unlike jetpacks and that rubbish). I just wants the devs to check it out, take it on board and consider it's merits.

I hope your not going to say the P.40 was used in North Africa.

Fair has nothing to do with it, facts are facts. Blame Mussolini for starting a war without properly preparing his Army and not listening to his Generals.

The simple and plain fact is the Germans seized all the best equipment for themselves after the Armistice.

That is true, and yes the P.40 never reached N Afrika. However they where used throughout the Italian penninsular by ISR soldiers and by the Wehrmacht. And about the P-40, there is a wrecked one right in the middle of what used to be my Grandfather's farm which was very close to a major supply junction for the Gustav line.
