Need more Finland

Hello, my name is Wasted.

I have seen that the mod is great, but I think there is one flaw. You have only one map where Finland is in. I dont own BF42, but I have BF2 so im aiming the things there kinda.

I know, Finland is small country, not important blah blah blah. But still, wouldnt it be nice to not do same overdone US versus German?
I mean, show up minor battles to those who didnt even know them.

So im reguesting more finland maps, atleast three. one for each war. these wars were everywhere in the timeline. Winter war (39-40) Continuation War (41-44) and Lapland War (44-45)

Winter war: This was the war where Soviet attack Finland, now one map about it. Finns would have to defend againts soviets.Soviets would have more tanks and stuff, but they would be in this kinda disadvange. Now the flag positions would be that soviet flag would be besieged. In Motti. Now soviet team gots lots of weaponry, but would be shot from everywhere. And I think that artillery wouldnt be so good in this map, as finn team could all the time bomb (only) soviet flag.

Continuation War can be....something. I dont really know how it could be made anyway specially. It was just that finns attacked soviet.

Lapland war could be something different. FINLAND VS GERMAN. See, something new. And flag set could be like in Dragon alley or Clean Sweep. Finn team has one flag that cant be taken and german has all the other but no "immune" flag.


Whatca think? I have never played FH (sorry) so I dont know how it is. I just pop here cos my friend said this will be the best mod to BF2.

Yes, Finland is quite low priority, but they are getting more weapons and maps, now only 1 map and no own weapons or vehicles.

I hope new map / maps are coming for new version, and there are 2 custom Finnish maps too. But Bf1942 maps can't be converted to BF2, so they need to make new maps then. And Finland isn't going to be in first release of FH2 , it's a lot to do for FH; and dev team has decided to convert Germany and USA or Russia at first release if I recal correctly. But nothing sure though

Battle of Tali-Ihantala would be nice to have. It was the largest ever fought battle in the Nordic Countries. Casualties for Finland was about 8,800 of the 50,000 and 22,000 for Soviet Union of the 150,000 strength. Soviet army lost about 400-600 tanks and 120-280 Soviet planes were shot down.

I think finland has had enough atention so far, i hope the devs will focuss on more important countries then finland for FH2.

Not important countries but more used ones finalnd was and is important.

well imo finland will be in soon, cause the devs just need to repaint the stugs and the russian tanks they captured
so then a few uniforms and tataaa!

Yes, I think that Soviet, US and Japan are very important, but there is just so many with them. Why cant we have some minor countrys fight too?

Yes, i would like to see more Finland maps, Italian maps, and i would like to see the Australians in the Pacific insted of just the US to name a few.
