Swaying machineguns.

Instead of having the crosshair going so large on the machineguns why not implement the swaying as on the at-rifles. I think it would be more realistic. Also why not make so if you choose the machinegun on the german team one gets the MG42 and the other the MG34 like with the PPSH with 35 and 71 roung magazines?:naughty:

sway for all weapons would be more realistic

Because, IMO, the MG42 is a realy bad-ass weapon as it is, and I dont think it should be a spawnable class. I'd say just the MG34 is good enough for me.

the bipod mg42 is pretty rare in fh now..

Yeah. In the grand scheme of things, 1200rpm versus 900rpm is not that big of a difference...

Re: Swaying machineguns.

sure they used those RPM in FH? Even if the orginal weapons was like that...

Re: Swaying machineguns.

The mg42 is faster than the mg34 in FH, but i dont think that the MG42 is goin anywhere near 1200 rpm [thats 20 bullets a second].

Personally i prefer the MG34 kit over the MG42 kit. The MG34 has a lower ROF, so the crosshairs never actually expand while you hold down fire. The MG42 has such a high ROF that the crosshairs expand, ruining the accuracy

I've been long (for almost a year) pushing the idea of replacing crosshair expansion completely with the sway-n-swing

It would be retarded. Just leave it as is.

Only for emplaced guns then, because ppl were getting sick with moving and sway effects.

Retarded? Isnīt it more retarded that after taking one step the bullets go everywhere like 2 meters up in the air? Though i only think it should be on heavy weapons.

umm the whole pont of fixed gun turrets was to improve accuracy and to NOT have sway

No cross hairs, iron sites, and sway -- I finally played Red Orchestra this week and that's realism, and well done.

The sway would be tiny then.

If you would just stick with a sway you can use mg's as assault weapons, you would simply have to compensate to gun everyone down with ease. It works for AT rifles because their rof is so low. But with an mg42/34 it would turn nasty.

I hate crosshairs period. Once I was playing regular BF and this guy popped around a corner, he wasn't more than a foot away from me and I die because my crosshairs were so expanded that my bullets hit ground behind him instead of him  Im all for iron sights love em and woundnt change them a bit.
