Fly-By Camera

Press F12 in any vehicle, and you get a neat little "fly-by" view of the action...

Near every mod has this feature included for infantry, but FH does not. We already have two different 3rd person views, so why not this one too? Makes for some cool screenshots.

Hell, I bet you could do it by .67.

Its not important, but it would be nice to have, and its probably not to hard to code in.

It isn't important. But why not have it? It could not take too long to do, would make for great screenshots, and be just plain nice to have.

Personally I think all external views (other then nose cam) only belong in FH Movie Edition.

Fly-by can't really help you. It just looks cool.

IMO, 3rd person view is needed. Imagine driving through the wooded areas of Nordwind with no out of tank view.

I do it all the time. I feel that external view are chaunce so I don't use them at all. I also usually get very good scores as a tanker.

I do agree flyby can't really help but since they have a movie version I just think that it would be better included there.

Because that is cheating. 3rd person cam allows you look behind walls/corners, even through buildings and into lower/higher floors

Attached is a screenshot showing how someone in the top of bunker on Omaha can look a floor below him, and know exactly when and how many enemies are coming.



This alone is enough to be considered a bannable cheat/exploit, yet the game provides it at the convinience of a button press.

While for vehicles, it may be necessary to use external cams in order to navigate, for infantry, there is absolutely no reason for this to be enabled.

And to add to this, you suggest to use the Fly-by view for infantry as well? Are you nuts? Someone can go to the enemy flag, enable the Fly-by camera there, and then walk back into safety of his own base accross the whole map (using minimap to navigate). And the camera will stay positioned at the enemy flag while the player is across the whole map!! He can relay all the enemy movements, vehicles, everything from that flag, to his team.

FH needs to remove external cameras for infantry ASAP!

There is movie-making-mod, that's where all those cameras should be, not in the game-mod

I don't really use the current 3rd person cameras at all... Fly-By can not do you any real good, so I would like to see it in.
