I think the map loading screens in FH are usually well done in terms of graphics and so on. But BG42 used these loading screens to tell about the history of the battle, when it took place and how it ended.
In other words, they gave sort of an abstract of the battle the map is about. I don't want FH to copy this, but couldn't we put the map loading screens to something more useful than pictures of vehicles or soldiers? Prokhorokva is a good example, I think. This one gives an overview of what sort of battle it was, which military units were involved, and so on...
What do you think?
Just my two cents, thanks for listening.
BTW: Probably, I was not trying to insult or flame you. So stay calm and easy, hm?
"Ask them, US and Brits didn’t do squat in WW2, it was won by the Soviet all by themselves versus the entire Germans Army and they did it while standing on one leg and with a arm tied behind their back. Western Europe, North Africa, Italy were all side shows" -unknown poster
Yea how 'bout they tell when a map is based on fiction so we don't have to listen to people talking about what battle germans helicopters were in. (*sarcasm)
I think it should tell what units were involved, when and what happened during the battle, and tell something about a vehicle or feature(give picture and brief history of Tiger, or tell how to change ammo type with the '88').
"I am afraid we killed the wrong pig!" -Winston Churchill
"Strike with the fist, don't tickle with the fingers." -Heinz Guderian
Please use at least a part of the maploading screen for a "tip of the mapload"-area listing all those do's and don'ts for newbies. Pretty much please with sugar on top!

Might be 'cause I'm rather drunk and listening to Judas Priest's "Living after midnight", but I think that that's a really good idea.
Hey, even Word has got a "tip of the day"... and we're better than Word, aren't we?
Just my two cents, thanks for listening.

Just keep them the way they are there's a great manual that will include map tactics and information in future releases according to AceS. The manual just needs to be released a couple of days prior to the 0.62 release so that people will actually read it. Gives away almost everything but does that matter a couple of days before the release.
