Re: Japanese vs British?? WHY NOT?...Japanese paras Quote:
1. Brittish, and Chinese added into this part of the game. 2. More of the weapons used in this front, Type-44, Johnson Rifle, Grease Gun, Type-100 SMG, and so on. 3. redo the fallowing maps: Midway, that Island was bigger than that. With with two carriers per side and torpedo bombers, and planes. Guadalcanal, needs those cool Vine covered trees from DICE used in the Phillipenes, and bushes, and Pistol pete, with Japanese AT guns, and a true Beach assault like it was, not set in the midle of the battle. 4. More Torpedo bombers, and ships on the island maps, and AT guns for the Japs, and US forces that they did use. |
Re: Japanese vs British?? WHY NOT?...Japanese paras Redoing maps is a good point. Afaik there was no fighting on midway itself. Just the sea battle... |

Re: Japanese vs British?? WHY NOT?...Japanese paras oh oh, the japs had 4 carriers at midway, 3 normal, 1 escort. the us had 3. |
Re: Japanese vs British?? WHY NOT?...Japanese paras But the japs did a major mistake with their planes while the us-planes were on the way to destroy the carriers. |
Re: Japanese vs British?? WHY NOT?...Japanese paras The Americans sent torpedo bombers and dive bombers at the Jap carriers. Because the dive bombers had to climb to altitude, the torpedo bombers got to the carriers first. They were then ripped apart by the Japanese fighters. However, because all the jap fighters were close to sea level in order to engage our torpedo bombers, they weren't able to get to altitude in time to engage the dive bombers, and the dive bombers were then able to drop their payloads. Essentially, the torpedo bombers sacrificed themselves so that the dive bombers could get through, though I am quite certain that was not the original intent. Thus we destroyed all four of their carriers, and they critically damaged one of ours, the USS Lexington. It survived the battle, but was so badly damaged they deemed it unsalvageable given the current state of the war (not enough time or available manpower) and so they evacuated it and purposely sank it. Additionally every single Japanese aircraft in Midway was destroyed, while almost all of their pilots (which included many of their most experienced ones) were killed. |
Re: Japanese vs British?? WHY NOT?...Japanese paras Please can we get back on topic? Anywho, I'd really like some Scottish accented voice commands for this theatre. The Black Watch, Britains finest Celtic Regiment fought sucessfully in Burma. |
