Looks like Eau Claire falls under disruptive snowfall. Oh well, don't care. Such is life up here.

While you might not need to go to school, it sure would be useful :)

There has been a snow storm in europe, really worth calling a STORM.
Apparently the Autobahn in germany has been stopped for the moment.
The storm will hit me here in Stockholm during this night (coming hours). Luckily, I'm unemployed and haven't got school so I have no reason at all to leave the home tomorrow :)

Re: Attention Mid-Atlantic and North

I heard Germany is getting pounded right now. I read alot of meteorology sites and there is alot of chatter about this setting up to be a real problem. Possible hurricaine-like with eye and all. I will definitely post pics of the development as my area is said to get hit the hardest. Of course, if I am wrong and this turns out to be a rain event, we'll blame moose and call for his banning.

The front looks like a glove.

And you bastards don't know how lucky you are. What I wouldn't give for my yard to be under a meter of snow right now...

We're starting to get snow here in Indiana. It's too warm right now, though, for the snow to stick. Like it's been going really solid since like 10 this morning but basically nothing has stuck. That will probably change over night but for now it's just really slushy and annoying to walk around.

A little before and after for you. 18" were our total. My brother in VA got 32". Looking like the snowiest winter on record for us, being that there is another foot to drop Tuesday/Wednesday. I hope Obama gets Cap and Trade, higher taxes are directly proportional to lower snow totals. :D

Well at least your children could stay home and play with their telescopes.
