We actually had one kid ringing at the door, my dad did gave him something... if it was me I'd told him I don't have anything or that I don't do halloween (depending on the kid would appear as the "just having fun" or "I need candy!11" type).

Well, it's understandable. Not many European nations celebrate Halloween, but I do know some have adopted this American tradition...oh god forbid doing something American.

Anywho, in America the unspoken humbug routine is just to keep your porch light off and living room lights off and kids usually know not to knock on those doors. But if you do what the retarded Catholic family down at the corner house did last year and hand out Enfamil and mini-Bibles then your going to get "tricked". Someone(s) toilet papered and egged their house. Also there where an assortment of Watch Towers (?...k) and a few of those bibles tossed all over their yard. I'm guessing older siblings came back to the house later on. Just the look on the wife's face the following morning when she went out to get the morning paper was priceless.

But like a sucker I am...I went over and helped her clean up and explained why it happened. They don't speak very good English...but I think they got the point. They handed out candy this year or risk the wrath of the candy trolls.

Holy shit. My friend's party was so epic. I went over there with 4 of my friends about 9:00, and we ended up saving some 12 year olds from some candy stealers. A bit of a fist fight developed there, ofc we won. GO HUSKIES! The muggers were from our school's rival, Western Tech. And then we partied all night, had a lot of fun. I wont reveal the details. I'll just say that we played strip poker.
