I think that is correct.

Here's another pest tip; just remember one man's pests are another man's gastronomic and environmental delights. Slugs and snails love beer, and if you want to create a snail-and-slug-free environment (at least for a few days) you can lure them away and to their doom by leaving a little trail of beer leading to a trap, of either a dish of water where they drown, or a salted area which will chemically shrivel slugs into pieces of slime-jerky as the water is fatally pulled out of them. Or you can find where the snails and slugs cross your walk and can spray the area with fairly salty water, and the same shriveling will happen within a few hours or less. But if you want to be their buddy, forget the salt water spray and just put up a "Slug Xing" sign. And try to be careful where you step.
