| Most of these were introduced a considerable time before now... California's was 1994 for instance. What's your point?

| I don't think you understand... it's a bill 'declaring sovereignty' under the 10th Amendment. That means they're reinforcing their states rights. It's not them declaring independence or seceding.

| What meadow said, they are not trying to leave the union, thats called secession as he pointed out. What you see here is the silly declaration of this that... celebration of this and that. Nothing of real substance. Which is why approval ratings are so god damned low. Why do these guys get together only a handful of times a year and create stupid things like this? However, if it were a real action, say a lawsuit or supreme court tial that takes some power away from the federali's and gives more to individual states... well, Id vote for that. Its like debating a state bird or something meaningless like that.

| Where did you dig through to find this stuff Reinholt? It's just a worthless bill, like majority congress plays around with. Like Stylie and Meadow said, it reinforces their states right, like a hey guys, we're a cool state, we've got rights. |

| Here is a cool one though... The town of Killington Vermont which is dead smack in the center of the state, has for years been trying to "leave" and reside in New Hampshire!!! Killington, Vermont secession movement - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Residents of South Jersey have, for years, been trying to divide New Jersey into a North, South Jersey. If you go to South Jersey you would swear it is Kentucky or Gergia or something, while the North is all about New York City.

| Dude, its peach farms and sleepy beach towns... I dont blame them one bit with the outrageous corruption and over taxation they feel. There isnt much at all in SJersey. Yet they suffer the ridiculous state taxes brought on by the northern needs.
