He may have had a carry permit? I dunno I didn't read if he did or not. And in case you ask what the purpose of a carry permit is (chances are you will), its for personal defense and protection.

Now I'll go away and await one of the Euro dwellers of this humble forum to challenge the carry permit law.

I'm with Lobo. It just shows the absolute insanity of any society allowing its members to be able to do anything like that. That's why we should ban..........tongues.

We'll just say, "No more tongues!", and that will immediately stop all misuse of tongues. Sure, a few hundred million lawful tongue-users will be a little inconvenienced, but tongues are far too dangerous to be permitted in a civilized modern society. We'll be safe forever just as soon as we ban tongues. ;)

Have you not noticed that in Spain, somehow, people still magically get guns illegally, dispite all those laws?

And proportionally, that the US has no more crime then european countries? it just seems like more because we also have 3-5 times the population of an average euro country.

And I can very well predict that your answer will consist of some insult directed at me, followed by a vague statement that dismisses anything I say as rubbish without a single concrete fact to back it up, or to even support your claims.

Yeah Von Mudra, I have read the same idiotic arguments in our other 235 discussions about the guns in USA...funny thing is: those countless discussions always started because a demented killed half a dozen christians with his gun, so it's pretty obvious that you, dear gringos, have a severe problem of childiss negation of reality and its problems when it's about your toys, ma'am

So I have read 1000 times

a) that a piano string can be a killing machine
b) that if everybody would walk with a gun no serial killer would survive more than 10 seconds...who watches the watchers? ah yeah, more watchers, ah the vicious circle
c) crime stadistics are not such a big deal, yeah, no wonder, you also see Elvis walking around sometimes
d) your police is so incompetent that you need weapons
e) your evil government would create a totaliarian state if you have no weapons

etc, etc etc

and to be honest, they lost the comedic value after the first dozen times, so I wil pass, and honestly I will not shed a tear if you all kill each others, you seem to be wishing it ardently

Because in Europe, the police are so super skilled they can hear a gun being drawn a mile away, flash warp to the scene and intercept the bullet (which bounces off harmlessly btw) and then break the gun in half with their bare hands before reforming the criminal right there and then! Nifty!
