I got the Godfather trilogy as well! Was yours blu-ray?

Nah, I haven't sprung for the high def tv yet. This Summer I thought the prices on a high def widescreen would be low enough this Christmas to make a good deal, but with the economy so dicey, we didn't do any big ticket items like that, deciding instead to sock our $ away and see what will happen....and from all the wailing of the merchants it looks like I wasn't the only one with that cautious attitude.

Mine was blu-ray because my dad deemed it necessary to buy 3 ps3's so we could have two blu-ray players here and one at college. I don't find it all that appealing.

Home made brownies, Dads Army and Wallace and Gromit on the telly.

Pretty good Christmas this one.

Christmas for me started off rather stressful. After getting little sleep (you try sleeping with the routine for preparing brussel sprouts going round your head) and being woken at 9am (about 2 hours too early), I had an hour to eat breakfast and open presents before we left for the estate's shooting lodge.

Here we had lunch with most of my father's and step mother's side of the family. There was turkey, swede mash, carrot and swede mash, sprouts, peas, roast potatos, bacon coated cocktail sausages, gravy and stuffing. Much fun was had confusing my neice by distracting her from toys by having her deliver presents to 2 grandfathers and 3 greatgrandfathers (all called grandfather).

After all that we came back to my mothers house and had too open more presents (I say it like its a bad thing). We then all sat down and watched Blackadder, Eastenders, Wallace and Gromit and the Royle Family.

I went to bed with a pounding headache (caused by a cold meeting sleep deprivation and alcohol) and got up today at about 2pm.

I can see Wallace and Gromit, but why on earth Eastenders? :(. Along the same lines as Wallace and Gromit you should have watched Robbie the reindeer!
