WW1 Games.

Okay I need some help.

I recall that some of the old members from Battlefield 1918 mod have gone and started to make a completely new game (with a new engine and stuff). Well it might be them I am not sure but I can't recall the name for hell. I do remember seeing it around here though, showing new models like a very well done German soldier and French, British etc.

Reason being is I lurked that forum and found a topic on WW1 games. There are two WW1 games coming out which is good, but they are of course sci fi, one is about a mix of vampires and undead stuff which is alright (as long as I get to fight in trenches) and the other one is were you infact time travel through history (American Civil war to some battles on WW1).

Just can't find links or their names anywhere. So I can get some help it would be great.

I'll also kill anyone you want.

Ewww the WW1 mod for Bf is soooo bad. Terrible mod, at least the ver I have is, no new maps and the when your in a tank or APC it still shows the 1942 picture...

That may have been Battlefield 1914/The Great War. They didn't get very far with that. BF1918 on the other hand had loads and loads of new maps, weapons and vehicles, it was an amazing piece of work.

still, it was far too arcady for my tastes. im sorry, but it does not take 3 hits from a rifle to kill somebody. it always disolved into bunny hopping fests.

You're right, it does not take 3 hits from a rifle to kill somebody... what made you think that was the case?

I do agree however that the laser-accurate rifles brought in the wrong crowd, though - CS kids who had no idea about WWI or any interest in it other than 'lol i r teh 1337 mauser master'.

The first game looks nice, we'll see how it plays.
