Funny how Obama's proposals takes Bush's programs even further by allowing faith based groups to discriminate with regards to employment. All I can say is wow and once again, if a Republican had proposed this, the left and the media would be exploding right now.

Interesting quote though from the article:

"In time, I came to see faith as being both a personal commitment to Christ and a commitment to my community; that while I could sit in church and pray all I want, I wouldn't be fulfilling God's will unless I went out and did the Lord's work," he was to say."

Oh that's right.....Obama doesn't "mean" any of this Jesus stuff. He's just saying it and doing it b/c Republicans are forcing him to do it.

My Way News - Obama to expand Bush's faith based programs

Given who Wes Clark has hung out with while on active duty, I question HIS judgment a lot more than I question McCain's:

In August 1994, Clark met with Bosnian Serb general and war criminal Ratko Mladic. The two men socialized, told war stories and exchanged hats. The meeting caused a diplomatic row as Washington rushed to deny that the meeting represented a change in policy towards the Bosnian Serbs, who were busy killing, imprisoning or driving out all non-Serbs from the parts of Bosnia controlled by their military forces. Clark now says that John McCain's past actions show the he doesn't have the judgment to be President.

he could have eaten babies during the vietnam war, how does that make the statement that being a pow during vietnam war doesnt make you a better president less credible?

If people could discredit him on that they would, but they cant so they try to discredit him about his past assuming that would discredit everything else he says.

Clark said that he doubts McCain's judgment on foreign policy issues.

I'm saying that Clark isn't in a position to give his opinion on other people's judgment on foreign policy issues, given the above infamous incident.

position or not he can give it, and you can agree or not agree with it.

But i agree with him on the point that been shooting down in vietnam and being a pow wouldnt make him a better president, its what i thought was common sense to everyone.

I posted the video merely to show how the media tries to discredit him by either the past like you do megaraptor or try to make it seem that comment was made to "dishonor" McCains service, instead of trying to discuss the point itself, nowhere i see the newshost trying to claim he isnt right with his comment, yet keeps trying to assume that by bringing up other stuff.

Has Obama spearheaded any types of inititiatives I should be aware of? Im more interested in bills or laws that he was responsible for as a Senator, or even City Council type stuff. not the voting record. Im not interested in that. I wanna know how creative he can get. Id also like to know about the initiatives, pass or fail. Serious, honest question, Im not trying to be a douche!!!

Bump. 24 hours now.

As this is a discussion of Sen. Barack Hussein Obama, presumptive Democrat Presidential Candidate, we need to lay down some ground rules:

1) Barack can do no wrong!
2) You are strictly verboten from criticizing him.
3) Don't mention his ungrateful wife (she's just misunderstood)
4) Don't mention his former pastor (he was just taken out of context)
5) Don't mention any of his past dealings with Tony Rezko
6) Being a junior senator, and community organizer are indeed greater qualifications than serving several terms in the Senate as well as being a military officer
7) Remember he represents "Change, Hope, and Future"
8) Don't mention that he's now reconsidering his "gradual withdrawal" stance on Iraq
9) Don't mention that he's the candidate of choice for such "freedom fighters" as Hamas and Hezbollah
10) Don't mention his throwing his white grandmother under the bus
11) Don't question his patriotism that represents "the politics of the past"

Proceed!
And to horrify many of you:
