Yes, and the safety systems worked and the accident was contained.

The researchers found that 37 children within a 5-kilometer (3-mile) radius of nuclear power plants had developed leukemia between 1980 and 2003, while the statistical average during this time period was 17, the paper said.
Does something seem fishy about this to you? 37 children only, or 37 out of some number? 17 out of what? every 100? 1000? 10,000? 1 million?

i would say double as many as the rest of the country for the same pupolation is too much, no matter if its one million people or not but being it in germany 5 km radious is like 30000 ppl my guess.

But i would rather pay 5 times as much for my energy then one kid having to endure leukemia

My point is that article needs to state its units of measure.

Mega, the carcinogenetic factor of radiations is something absolutely and scientifically proven, like tobacco causes lung cancer or apples fall down.

The medical information in mass media is usually terrible, is not easy to inform about it without a medic background, so yeah, maybe they missed the factor, but I bet the scientists of the Manz study didn't forget it

Heh, yes I accept that.

However, the radiation is kept inside the reactor by a giant wall of lead.

Well they may have got it right, but who knows what it originally said?

No you dunce, but thank you for asking. That was Lobo's metaphor, not mine. Obama is a bud of a much more dangerous and crazed person - Bombin' Bill Ayers.

Reading some stuff about him I don't see any major diference with other leaders of 68', like Daniel Marc Cohn-Bendit, they were angry people, and the world was upside down, your soldiers were killing and dieing in strange countries, and these dudes were against, but I don't think they hated Amerikkkka, they just thought that your leaders sucked.

Now they are assimilated, why you care?...ah yes, because Obama danced tango with him in the neighborhoud, wait...maybe they smoked some joint together?, damn, Obama you are so doomed, do like Bill, you didn't inhale the smoke.
"Just thought (our) leaders sucked"? That's all, right? Yeah, sure. That's what Bill Ayers meant when he said, ''Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, kill your parents, that's where it's really at,'' Sure, just a disagreement about leadership. And my all-time fave, "I don't regret setting bombs,'' Bill Ayers said. ''I feel we didn't do enough.''

Funny you should have used the Charles Manson analogy as a hyperbole intended to demean my alarm at Obama's continued association with Ayers. Because Ms. Dohrn said right after Manson and his crew butchered 7 people in Los Angeles, ''Dig it! Manson killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them, then they shoved a fork into a victim's stomach.'' And the stomach was the that of the 8 1/2-months pregnant Sharon Tate. Lovely people. No Regrets for a Love Of Explosives; In a Memoir of Sorts, a War Protester Talks of Life With the Weathermen - New York Times

Funny about the "Amerikka" thing too, because Dohrn and Ayers were the ones who invented it.
At a 1969 "War Council" in Flint, Michigan, Dohrn gave her most memorable and notorious speech to her followers. Holding her fingers in what became the Weatherman "fork salute," she said of the bloody murders recently committed by the Manson Family in which the pregnant actress Sharon Tate and a Folgers Coffee heiress and several other inhabitants of a Benedict Canyon mansion were brutally stabbed to death: "Dig it! First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them. They even shoved a fork into the victim's stomach! Wild!" The "War Council" ended with a formal declaration of war against "AmeriKKKa," always spelled with three K's to signify the United States' allegedly ineradicable white racism. http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/i...asp?indid=2190
Sure, it's no big deal...to people who like their words and deeds.

jumjum, explain to our youngsters that those dangerous hippies never placed a bomb below the car of an american family father like Al Capone, don't be a gambler. I will not praise their methods or some of their angry bullshit, but they were right about the racism issue, the critics to Vietnam and McCarthysm in the land of the free...

They just killed themselves because hippies are not very good handling dynamite, for that you must be a coal worker, like in my motherland, we_are_good_with_dynamite

Brinks robbery (1981) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Quote:
The Brink's robbery of 1981 (October 20, 1981) was an armed robbery carried out by Black Liberation Army members Jeral Wayne Williams (aka Mutulu Shakur), Donald Weems (aka Kuwasi Balagoon), Samuel Smith and Nathaniel Burns (aka Sekou Odinga), Cecilio "Chui" Ferguson, Samuel Brown (aka Solomon Bouines), several members of the Weather Underground (David Gilbert, Samuel Brown, Judith Alice Clark, Kathy Boudin, and Marilyn Buck), and an unknown number of accomplices.[1] They stole $1.6 million from a Brink's armored car at the Nanuet Mall, in Nanuet, New York, killing two police officers, Edward O'Grady and Waverly Brown, and a Brinks guard, Peter Paige.
