Obama Talks of Family's Military Service - From The Road

Our friend is now claiming that his uncle liberated Auschwitz.

Auschwitz was in Poland, and was liberated by Soviet troops.

Oh Noes!, Obama has a commie uncle, this is atrocious!!!

(You could remark the Buchenwald rectification, your skills for manipulation against your "enemies" are awesome)

Yeah, no, that massive cock up of geography, history and lack of varification is just fine and dandy becuase Obama's campaign covered his ass.

Wow, someone quite important apparently neg repped me over a little sarcastic joke...nice. Didn't even bother to leave their name.

Anyways....yeah, he meant to say Buchenwald. What it does say is that he obviously doesn't care much about his great uncle's war record when he can't even remember the very different name of the concentration camp he helped to liberate.... Course, the Obama campaign will bounce back with a few words about change. Its amazing how gullible people are these days.

"A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largess of the public treasury. From that time on the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury, with the results that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship."- Alexander Tyler, a Scottish historian of Athens.

I think Bush fanboys could keep their mouth very closed in regards of grammar, spelling and geographical mistakes of people, you will look prettier :)

Or maybe you think Obama was lieing?, he had not ancesstors who fought in the ww2 for America and free world like most of american families?, exactly why?, because he is dem and the dems don't die for his country?

Re: Barack Obama, should I be worried?

Um, Lobo, I just said he's not lying. His great uncle liberated Buchenwald. The fact that he didn't even know this and went for the first concentration camp that comes to mind, ie, Auschwitz, says how much he actually cares about his great uncle.

And Lobo, last I checked, us repubs on this forum seem to be pretty damn good at our grammar, spelling, and geography.

Lobo speaks better English than Bush. Sad day in America.

Ok, I got it, so it's just to be a nittpicky drama queen about whatever related to Mr.Obama...my apologies, I am slow lately.

Grammar and spelling maybe, geography who knows, JumJum said Spain is close to Mexico...arriba, arriba, arriba, yuhuhui!

Re: Barack Obama, should I be worried?

And jumjum was joking, you better be too.

And the problem isn't so much how its being nitpicky of Obama, but how the media reacts, totally downplaying it. If bush made such a mistake, the media would be all over him like flies on honey.
