Josey what is your problem with the TDP server ?
I play on it often cos its the best run friendliest server in all BF/FH !
There are a few simple rules, if you play by them eveyone has a good game
Dont use cheats/glitches
Dont TK/TD
Dont rape/enter uncap bases
thats basically it ! and that guarantees good games !
Before people get kicked the are warned MANY times to stop it (unless for TK, then PB does it auto), the kick last for 1 (ONE) minute, if anyone is stupid enough to come back and KEEP doing it, they will be TOLD again to stop it or they get banned, if they dont stop.............bye........63 happy people left playing, THIS is why the TDP server is so busy, its for people wanting good fun games, and 99% of time admin is on the server.
TDP maps, yes you need to get them from the TDP site, dont be put off, I get as good a download speed as most game sites (and while you're there have a look through the forums - funnily enough you'll find ALL the map makers are credited), the maps are brilliant (dont believe the nonsense above from josey), well worth getting, they keep the game fresh (and TDP have a weekend event on release!).
If you like FH try the TDP server and see for yourself.......an idiot free server....paradise

That unbelievable score is a result of a bug in the map soletschnogorsk-1942.

There is lasting bad feelings from the past over SSM's that were done to official FH maps, and without any mention of SSM's. This resulted in lots of flaming back and forth and bad feelings. Now that TDP has messages that they run SSM's its no problem. But several people were banned from TDP for complaining about these unmentioned SSM's, which imo they had a right to complain.

It all started because of these SSM's, and some people at TDP's poor attitude about not having messages saying they are running SSM's. When anyone complained, including some FH Devs, they were flamed and told too bad, and banned from the server and the TDP forums.

So this is why there is still bad feelings. TDP should have unbanned these people many of whom are betatesters and devs. It was very childish of them to ban people for complaining about a very legit issue.

So TDPs rep is their own doing, its up to them to fix it, if they want respect again. Appologizing and unbanning people would be a good start.

I stoped playing on them because of CRAZY SSM's, I mean, on Bocage, theres a flag in the middle of NOWHERE, after the SSM, and other crazy shit thats unbelivable (w00t Pixel Fighter)

True, i am banned on TDP, buts thats a good thing.The reason was, i was arguing about the SSM on Pavlov with some players, while there were only 6 pplon the server. I got kicked for saying the SSM sucks by an admin who wasnt recogniceable as an admin and didnt warn me.
I got back on the server, asked for the reason and then i asked to be banned.

I dont like being kicked and banned for strange reasons.

Look up the forums (wich are not public for a reason), they are postung private messages from players, banning people for "having a speed hack in a panther", attacking the arty in a base with a plane while that arty is pixelshooting the whole round and lots of other stuff.Freedom of speech is not existing over there. I know several people who have been banned for critic writing on this and other forums.

The whole community is banging landscapers "godlike" ass as if he was the second führer.

Regarding stealing maps, just look up this thread :LINK

Its only one of a handful of theads regarding stolen or used/changed without permission maps, mod content and models.

Almost all FH Devs and Betatesters got banned because they showed theyr dislike of, at that time wihtout being mentioned, Server side meooding.
People would get a false impression of FH if they connect to a server with a fletscher on omaha blasting the MG´s away while being attacked by PIV´s or seeing pumas and Kingtigers in the desert

Islay, if youre a regular player im sorry for accusing you to be a TDP Member who just posted for propaganda reasons. That happened a couple of times before already, too bad the search funktion is disabled.

josey please stop breaking the forum rules by making personal attacks on people.
You have a problem with TDP - this is your problem - NOT OURS !

BTW here is PROOF of a map being "stolen", the highlighted map is just at testing stage - already someone has stolen it from TDP!

The best thing about TDP is the number of people there - full servers without fail every night.

I've only played a few of their custom maps, but Chartres is well worth a round with a full server. Hilarious.
