| Pasquill | August 21st, 2007 10:36 AM | FH on BBC? Got up this morning and sat down to watch the morning bbc news before I set of to work, which also has discussions about little unimportant stuff like how cartoons on cereal boxes are evil blah blah. Then they had a little something on a summer camp thing which has no physical sport, but designing and creating games using darkbasic. So you see kids playing around with the computers and so on, then it switches to the two hosts talking to a lady who's in the know about games. They start gabbin on about video game violence, but the lady kind of defends it with the following:
Woman "Games are no longer just a game, there are modding tools.....
Man "modding? whats that?"
Woman "It allows people to tweek and create a whole new game on the back of a real game and anyone can do it! There is a mod currently in the making and should be released buy the end of this month and the whole community cannot wait for it!"
They start talking about communities around games and mods, but never mention any names.
Could this be FH? |
