Are you able to remove all that crap off your BF screen?(ammo, minimap, etc.) If so, how?

Not without l33t h3x0rz, doubt you'd be able to play online.....

Go to options, and look for HUD, turn off. =D

You can also press the ` key (it's in the top left of most keyboards) and then type HUD 0. This is helpful because you can pause (if it's singleplayer) and turn it on or off, in multiplayer, find some cover, turn it off/on and you are ready to go. Thus you don't waste like 5 minutes waiting for your computer to process through the menus.

Still though, I wish there was a way to turn off the chatting screen, some people can be really immature in game and sometimes I just want to turn the chatting off.....

I think real Badseed found a way to do that, you should contact him.

hud 0 turns off the chatting screen. It just turns off everything else too.

I wish there were a way to selectively disable shit from the hud, that would help enormously.

But with not chatbox, there would be no on-topic jokes about panzer-weenies and grass ninjas. Also I use to chatbox to tell my team where enemy tanks are and what not.

In FH the jokes are witty and actually relevant to the situation.....in BF2 its just people accusing each other of hacking and racial slurs.....
