I assume Tom and crew are talking about a great big, loud Miller's Tale explosion, not an SBD which crept in on little skunk feet. Otherwise they would have a heck of a time seeing the guilty party on film - unless they expect to see the innocent gagging and falling away on either side as the silent ass-ass-in remains motionless.

But firing someone for a fart? Who can prove this was intended as a disrespectful act, or was even a matter of choice? I, uh, smell lawyers if the producers act like, erm, butts.

Seriously,Tom isn't upset about the reverence of the moment being disturbed - he;s pissed because his divine will was defied. It's all about Tom's ego, not respect for "Good Germans".
