Best SNES Games

In my opinion, the best, most fun SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) games were (and still are), in no particular order:

Jurassic Park II: The Chaos Continues
The player returns to Jurassic Park one year after the first movie (game was made in 1994, before The Lost World was even on the horizon) as Dr. Grant and has to kick some Biosyn ass (rival of Ingen) as well as getting the park under control from the dinos. Also had 2 player co op, a rare thing in those days. Reminds me of Contra, only in my opinion more fun since its JP :p.

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
Luscious graphics, great gameplay, challenging puzzles (back then), action, and transforming Yoshis. Who didnt love this game? One of the last of the great SNES games.

Super Mario World
Classic. Introduced us to the SNES in a big way. And still great fun. Got to love the castle epilogues and the almost endless gameplay (for those who have gone all the way through the Star Road levels, you know what i'm talking about ;)). Classic is the only word to describe it.

Uniracers
Great racing game in which the players race unicycles on crazy tracks. Also able to pull off tricks and what not to gain extra points. May have been a bit hard at first (as most SNES games were) but still worth it.

F-Zero
If you wanted fast paced, edge of your seat racing action this was it on the SNES. Good graphics for its day and mind blowing speed for a game of its vintage, definetly one of the best.

Mario Kart
Another great racing game, scores of tracks and characters to choose from, this was definetly a gem from that silver age of console games. Too bad they got rid of Koopa Troopa in the N64 version ;).

PTO II: (Pacific Theater of Operations II)
Turn based WWII strategy from Koei. Honestly, one of the deepest if not the deepest game I have ever played on the Super Nintendo. This game pulled you in big time and would not let you go.

And although i never had the pleasure of playing the Zelda, FF, or Castlevania games, from what i have heard they are also quite good and they deserve an honorable mention.
Feel free to post about your old favorites.

Have to agree with you.

Yoshi's island is the best SNES game ever, i still havent finished it! (lack of luck, not trying).

Super mario world, F-Zero, and Starfox were also very good, Zelda: Link to the past as well.. also still need to finish it.

Ah, the good old days..

I always loved Jurassic Park II: the Chaos Continues, and I usually played it along with the Donkey Kong Country series, Mario World, Street Fighter Alpha, Lufia, and Breath of Fire II.
