lol question about ip address
 

you know when you type your ip address in the browser it will give you this http://www.portforward.com/english/r...ast1500WG1.jpg

and by default it doesent normaly have a pass and username right, well my does for some reason lol, and I have no idea what it is, i'm using a router so

but does anyone here know how to find out what your username and password is? or how to change it anyway?

well, the most common (factory set) configuration for routers is user/password: admin :p

Btw, the adres in your picture is a local netwerk adres, not the one you get from your isp to connect to the internet.

gatordh7, it would help tremendously if you would post the make and model (and serial number) of the router.

Here is a list of default user/pass combos for a whole buttload of commercial network equipment (might come in useful for others.)

You may have to do a hard reset (usually done by removing and re-inserting the power cable, and poking the tiny hole at the back with a paper clip for 10 seconds while the device boots--you know, like after high school prom.)

The make is D-link, and the model is di-704p

It's right in the name. ;)
