Default Lobo help clarify some Spanish Slang used in Spain

I downloaded a Spanish dubbed episode of Veronica Mars for kicks, it was dubbed in Castellano (i know you gachupines get pissed when we call it spanish). Whats the deal with the use of the word "tio" and "tia" (not refering to uncles of course) is kind of like saying guy or girl? What's a "capullo" like a moron or a prick? Also i heard wors like "coño" and "mierda" is there alot less censoring in Spanish TV?

I must say Mexican slang is way cooler you can't deny that words like "guey" and "ogete" have their charm not the mention the up and coming "cackino"

"Tio/a" could be translated as "Dude"
As Graf said, a good translation to "Capullo" would be "Dickhead"
"Mierda" is "shit" directly and "coño" is "pussy" but could be used in a "fuck" (not the action) way.

We have a wide insulting dictionary.

Haha!
"Tio,tia" here means uncle/aunt,but you can use for older people.
Well,is a sticky name....

What exactly means "cojones"?
Heh...
I have a diskette full of "Alternative" dictionaries:
English,spanish,japanese,arab,russian,german,swiss ,austrian,portuguese....

Hihihi....
"Buseta" on latin america mean bus. Here at Brasil it means other thing that the men love it.If he don´t,he is one "bicha".
Bicha=gay
at here,at least....

And last thing.
"Spanish" at here mean another very, well,a sex word.

BTW,what is the difference between castellano and spanish?
