Hey There! How i'm doing in the army..
 

as a long time FH-fan (0.5b) it's been frustrating not be able to play this fine mod for such a long time. This thread was highly inspired by the "who we are"- thread.

Hadn't been around for a while since i've been in army, carrying out the compulsory military service. I serve in Finnish Rapid Deployment Forces (Pori Brigade) in signals platoon (which was a great dissapointment since i applied for Jaeger Coy). My rank is atm corporal (and within a month sergeant, i guess).

Yeah, i know, i didn't make it to Reserve Officer School cause there was a senior lieutenant who greatly disliked me (he told it in front of our platoon :|) for some reason (i still don't know). I had the second best marks in both leadership and the courses (4 was taken in). After all, i managed to be the best in the final evaluation of the NCO-school in FRDF (2nd best NCO-student in the whole brigade).

I started in July last year. Still 123 days left ;)

PS. Here's some photographs snapped from the excercises and everyday military life around here. Most of the field practice pics are taken in September-November '05. I wish there had been more wintertime photos as there were some beautiful days out in the wilderness.

Winterphotos could be damn cool, but these are fine aswell. I can't say I remember you (sorry :p) but nice post anyway. Good luck with your service and see you on the virtual battlefield in time. ;)

I'm sad to hear that, but some of the staff just seems to be (a little?) wierd. Perhaps you corrected him once or didn't show enough joy towards his excellent person?
Still 122 long days left I assume?

They look really ugly IMO? Those real old Russian ones look much nicer, although the new ones might be better to live in...
