Gauntlet, I would really appreciate it if you could provide sources for the pics when you give the answers--not for copyright reasons (although I'm sure that'd be nice for the owners) but mainly because I'd like to see if I can find some more nice stuff on some of these pages.
For example, I'd love a full-screen background of the P-40 painting in #5.
I'm sorry, but I have all these pics stored on my computer, so I can't provide sources for all the pics...

Yep, you can see the catapult in front of the command-tower and the hangar which potrudes the tower. Those things were huge (more than 100 meters long).
