Hey i was watching some shows on History channel it looks like Hitler really messed up bad when he fired his Generals and started trying to command all the armies himself. Their was that Fiasco wher he got all focused on Leningrad and kept telling his armies to go this way and that -then the whole battle of Britain deal. How would the German army fared without this lunatic bumbling about?

id say give thanks, as it helped us win the war faster, with less loss of life im guessing. but if he did delagate more, the war would have been longer but the allies still would have eventually won imo
They would have lost anyway. The world is way too big and Germany is way too small. China probably couldn't even fight the whole world and they have almost half the people in it.
Yea, if it is anything history has showed us is that even if you do manage to create an empire through force and war it is still only a matter of time before it collapses.
Hadn't it been for Hitler, Germany wouldn't have increased it's army's power as greatly as it did in the 30s, now, he might have been good with speeches and army developement, but he had the strategic skills of my 8 year old sister, the most useless things the germans made, like the Maus, the Sturmtiger, etc, were all pretty much because of his requests, and he didn't had a clue of what use each part of the army had, he wanted to use the rail guns on tanks, among other insane ideas. And to make it worse, nobody dared telling him his ideas were stupid, they actually encouraged him.
Anyways, it's true that even if he hadn't screwed things up, the allies would have still won.
Hitler could not have beat the world true but he could have forced a peace on his terms. If in 1941 Moscow had been captured and Stalin arrested then they could have removed Russia from the way. If Sealion had gone ahead and removed Britin from the fight then America would have obvious reason to enter the war. Not to mention that they would be not just attacking another country but with no land bases within a thousand plus miles meaning no air cover until Carriers were brought up. Hitler could have won, it was quite possible. Subduing either Russia or Britian offered an excellent chance of ending the war on Hilters terms. He could not have taken China or American, but Europe would have been his.
The issue is a bit more complex and not the simplistic and bias source of info the rather politically suspect "the History channel" show dailly.The best sources are books,the only TV show worth watching with some depth and is not politically driven is the Battlefield series.
You are wrong. Hitler tried to beat all his enemies at once and that was his mistake.
Political fiction:
1. germans focus in North Africa, take Egypt, Palestine, Syria, etc...they get fuel of the area.
2. defeat totally UK
3. Attack CCCP, but with fuel supplies and only one front they beat the russian bear.
4. Now he can sit happy over all Europe under his boot, waiting what US try to do. All poor euros doing now the goose march, nasty. I am glad he was a moron.

Im not so sure. When the germans took france. They should of gone to england so the americans could not land there. So if Hitler and the japan command planed more. They could of taken over the world. It would of ended up who invented the atom bomb first.
Heydue245 how would u get across the channel after just blitzing Europe. Also the Normandie toke like 3 years to plan this(The germany navy wasn't ready for the landings and BT what was operation Sealion*sacastic*) ....
